Founded by Dr. Brian Specht, DDS, a practicing dentist and owner of a successful private practice in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, our mission is simple: to make restorative dentistry more efficient, accessible, and precise, without ever sacrificing quality. Dr. Specht first launched CAD CAM DOCS as a trusted resource for dental equipment sales and repair, assembling a team of highly skilled technicians who could repair virtually anything. But as the business grew, he saw another clear need in the industry...fast, dependable, high-quality lab services that dentists could rely on for same-day or next-day restorations. That's how CAD CAM DOCS Dental Laboratory was born.
Jen Ludwig has joined our team to manage the national expansion of our dental lab network, with a goal of opening 10–15 labs across the U.S. Jen brings over 25 years of experience in the dental lab industry and has managed operations at scale.
She has managed the full scope of business operations, including the ability to grow relationships with dentists, regularly organizing study clubs and CE events that strengthen trust and partnerships.
In addition to her business acumen, Jen is deeply engaged in the profession. She was the Chair of the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, sat on multiple boards, and served on the advisory board for the MATC Dental Technician Program. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized nationally, including her biggest achievement being named CDT of the Year in 2023.
What sets Jen apart is her passion for both the business and people side of dental labs. She has successfully led teams through ownership transitions, vendor negotiations, and rapid growth strategies, all while maintaining strong, respectful relationships across the industry.
Damien has been instrumental in transforming our dental equipment refurbishing and repair business. What started as just five machines under a desk has grown into a full warehouse operation.
Damien brings exceptional technical expertise in electronics, circuit board repair, wiring diagrams, robotics, and CNC operations. He developed our remote diagnostics and repair approach that now allows us to walk dentists step-by-step through troubleshooting and fixing their equipment.
In addition to his technical ability, Damien has stepped into a broad leadership and business management role.
In his previous role as one of the lead instructors at the Milwaukee Robotics Club, Damien honed both his technical expertise and his ability to guide others through advanced problem-solving. That experience, combined with his creativity and precision, has enabled him to engineer solutions to some of our most challenging and complex repairs.
